Connect & Network
The primary goal of our social network is to provide our members with a safe space to have meaningful discussions about the industry, facilitate beneficial connections, share educational and career opportunities, as well as foster camaraderie among each other. At the same time, we also want our Association to be fun and different, one that everyone enjoys being a part of.
This is a place where we can have formal conversations, but also banter about things like travel/layover tips, food recommendations, and even our Asian stereotypes and how they awkwardly fit into our aviation roles.
About Discord
Discord is a robust voice, video and text communication service that is currently used by over 100 million people worldwide. Some of you may already use it to communicate with friends, study groups, clubs or your local community.
The Discord platform allows its members to participate in multiple servers at the same time, so you do not have to create a new account if you already use Discord. All we ask is that you set your PAPA Discord server nickname to your real name, so that we can verify your membership.
If you have not already, please download the Discord app and join our chat server using the link above. Please do not share the invite link with anyone else. Discord works on both your computer and mobile devices. For the best user experience, we recommend familiarizing yourself with Discord’s wide range of features on a laptop or tablet, before using the mobile app. Discord notifications are highly customizable, as explained below.

Rules of Engagement
While we encourage your participation, joining our exclusive chat server is completely optional, and members are welcome to join and leave the server at anytime. Discord also has highly advanced notification features. For example, you can enable them only for channels that you are interested in, or if someone mentions you by name.
Above all, please follow the server rules, and be respectful of one another. Our PAPA volunteers are always happy to help and step in if you encounter any issues.
If you have a suggestion for a #channel you would like to see created, please let us know. As the server grows in size, we will also likely seek out volunteer moderators to help maintain decorum in the server.
Should you decide to opt out of our Discord server, you can still stay engaged with us here on this website, or via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Membership Chapters
As our organization grows, we would like to establish PAPA membership chapters across the nation, and with the right support, in other countries. These chapters include and are not limited to:
Regional (East/West coast, LA Metro area, etc.)
Collegiate (ERAU, UND, etc.)
Job-specific (FAs, ATC, mechanics, etc.)
